VICTORIA SHIRREFFS | AIA ASSOCIATE | LEED GA | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
Growing up, weekends were reserved for family and episodes of the New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram. Engineering kits and Lego sets first sparked Victoria’s interest in enhancing the world around her through construction. The New Yankee Workshop with Norm Abram planted the seeds of her love for architecture, but it took a childhood friend and her parents' renovation efforts to lead her toward life as an architect. A graduate of Tulane University’s School of Architecture with nearly a decade of professional experience, Victoria brings a solutions-focused attitude and passion for the collaborative design process to Bonin Architects and Associates. Having trained and worked throughout the United States within offices specializing in aviation terminals to custom family homes, Victoria refers to her work experience and training to address clients' needs elegantly and collaboratively. Skilled in hand drafting and technical drawing, she appreciates fine workmanship and attention to detail.
Victoria holds the following degrees: Master of Architecture and Master of Sustainable Real Estate Development from Tulane University; Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder.
She participated in Urban Land Institute’s Young Leadership Partnership Forum under Colorado Director of Development Molly Urbina and Habitat for Humanity’s Kory Whitaker. As an alumna of the Americorps Vista program Victoria values community service.
Victoria's grandfather was a top locomotive engineer who not only shared his love of trains with her, but his drafting tools, which he gifted to her when she started at university and which she continues to treasure.
