BEN GEDNEY | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
Ben is an architectural designer and a graduate of Norwich University in Northfield, VT where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies and his Master of Architecture. During his time at Norwich, he participated in the 2013 Solar Decathlon, an international competition hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy and National Renewable Energy Laboratory, as a part of the “Delta T 90” team. Ben helped design and build a fully functional 1,000-square-foot solar-powered modular home that traveled from Vermont to California. He designed and built the kitchen and most of the home's custom furniture pieces. His experience includes large-scale precast concrete work at Blakeslee Prestress Inc. in Branford, CT as well as healthcare and commercial projects at AG Architects, PC in Dover, NH.Ben is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. He has an interest in sustainable design and hopes to use his experience with green architecture
in the future. During his free time, Ben enjoys drawing and painting.
