THE ORIGINAL LAKE SUNAPEE COTTAGE was replaced with consideration to the classic Victorian homes of the neighborhood. Houses only eight feet from either side led the design to maximize allowable living space on the site for activities of all seasons.
The exterior of the home complements the surrounding architecture of Blodgett Landing while the interior boasts a more contemporary atmosphere. The sculptural open stair greets one upon entry and allows easy travel from floor to floor. With young children and an active lifestyle, the homeowners’ goals were easy lake access, plenty of storage space, low maintenance, and casual private and common areas for family and guests.
