Located on Lake Winnipesaukee, this custom home draws inspiration from the area’s classic cottage architecture. At the same time, it interprets these traditions through a contemporary lens. For example, brackets, balconies, and varied exterior materials shape the home’s character. As a result, the design feels casual and comfortable despite its close proximity to the shoreline. Inside, each space focuses on lake views. Consequently, the home captures the changing scenery from sunrise to sunset.

Because lakeside entertaining space is limited, the design prioritizes a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. To achieve this goal, large glass doors slide fully open to the landscape. Likewise, a pergola-covered mahogany deck extends the living experience outdoors. In addition, carefully placed bluestone pavers, stepping stones, and stairs connect the lower and main levels. Together, these elements create a natural flow throughout the property.
