ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER/DRAFTER

Bonin Architects & Associates is seeking an Architectural Designer/Drafter to join our New London office. This role supports residential and light commercial projects under the direction of the principal architect, project managers, and senior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional degree in design, architecture, or related field with an emphasis in residential construction or architecture, or 4+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office Suite
  • Twinmotion experience is a plus
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information such as sketches and drawings to develop designs
  • Self motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, drafting, and modeling for residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinating with principal architect, project managers, and senior staff
  • Participation in client and site meetings
  • Material sourcing and field reporting
  • Time tracking and project correspondence
  • Other project specific and general office responsibilities

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER

Bonin Architects & Associates is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer to join our New London office. This role supports residential and light commercial projects under the direction of the Landscape Architect and senior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional degree in landscape architecture, five+ years of related professional experience, preferably in residential design. 
  • Fluent in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, and MS Office Suite
  • Revit experience is a plus
  • Have a strong knowledge of New England landscape plants, and be fully competent in all conventional aspects of landscape architecture.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret information (sketches, etc.) in order to develop designs
  • Self motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
