Birch bay house

Set within a sheltered cove on Lake Sunapee, the gently sloping lawn and mature trees framing the water immediately captured the clients’ attention. Preserving natural privacy while strengthening the connection to the lakeside became a guiding priority.

The design is a balance between an exterior addressing the context of the New Hampshire Lakes Region and an interior with a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. Both have a tranquil sensibility contributing to the enjoyable qualities of this lake home.
