The Design Intent: To have a single story, energy efficient timber frame cabin, utilize the existing concrete foundation, take advantage of the view, impact the land minimally and build the green home as efficiently as possible. The timber frame floor plan is optimized for traffic flow and has plenty of room for entertaining.
The site lies at the western end of the lake, resulting in stunning morning views and comfortable cool summer breezes. A gentle slope, rich soils, walking trails and the lake make this a wonderful retreat perfect for the owners’ hobbies of gardening, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and running.
